Catholics Come Home

CATHOLICS COME HOME

Many parishes in the Archdiocese of Chicago have over the years tried to find effective ways to reach out to "inactive" Catholics. During the Advent and Christmas seasons, you might have seen a series of commercials that was aired on all major networks called Catholics Come Home. The formal television campaign has now ended, but the commitment of the Catholic Church in Chicago and St. Gregory the Great Parish to inviting Catholics to come home to the Church and the practice of their faith remains strong.

The Archdiocese of Chicago Office for Evangelization has created a webpage devoted to Catholics Come Home. This is the place to find facts, information, and resources for the parishes of the Archdiocese of Chicago. For more information, go to www.CatholicsComeHomeCHICAGO.org. There is also a national website that you can go to at www.CatholicsComeHome.org which contains additional information and resources.

We lovingly invite all those who have left the Church and the practice of their faith for any reason at all to come home to St. Gregory the Great Parish to find healing, answers, and support. Please feel free to contact Fr. Paul Wachdorf, the pastor, Fr. Brian Fischer, the associate pastor, Fr. John Moulder, our resident priest, if you have any questions, want to talk, or make an appointment to meet. Thank you for your interest in the Catholics Come Home initiative. We hope that you will find  St. Gregory the Great Parish to be a warm and welcoming place for you to practice your faith.
