Education

From its inception, St. Gregory the Great has been committed to educating our youth and adults.

Several years ago, seven parishes on the North Side of Chicago joined in creating Northside Catholic Academy, a school that serves children from kindergarten through eighth grade. NCA has two campuses located at St. Ita Church, and St. Gertrude Church. Children from St. Gregory the Great are transported to one of these campuses by school bus.

St. Gregory's is also home to Saint Gregory the Great High School, which serves approximately 175 students from the North Side of Chicago and beyond.

St. Gregory the Great Saturday School of Religion, serves the important catechetical ministry of passing along our faith to children from kindergarten through eighth grade and beyond. A team of dedicated catechists offers classes and preparation for the sacraments on Saturday mornings from September through May.
