Worship & Sacraments
It is the privilege and duty of all the baptized to offer God our praise and thanksgiving, week by week in the celebration of the Eucharist, and season by season in the celebration of the other sacraments --- baptism and confirmation, reconciliation and anointing of the sick, matrimony and holy orders.
At St. Gregory's, all are welcome to join us in the Sunday celebration of the Eucharist: worshipping God, abiding in Christ, offering our prayers through the help of the Holy Spirit.
Come, join us. Participate in the Eucharist with us and you will know who we are and what we believe. Witness the beauty of our liturgy, observe the humility of our faith, and share the treasure we have found in our membership in the Body of Christ.

Mass Ministries
The Eucharist and other sacraments are celebrations of the Paschal Mystery of Christ. These rituals are celebrated, not just by the priest, but by the entire Christian assembly. There are, therefore, a number of roles in the celebration that are filled by a variety of liturgical ministers.

Ushers assist at weekend masses by greeting parishioners as they arrive, taking up the collection at the preparation of the gifts, directing the communion procession, distributing bulletins as parishioners leave mass, etc. Any parishioner over the age of sixteen may be trained to be an usher. If you would like to serve as an usher, please call Fr. Paul Wachdorf or Fr. Brian Fischer at the Parish Center.
Cantors and Choir Members assist in leading the assembly's song during the celebration of Mass. Cantors lead the assembly in the singing of hymns and responses from the sanctuary, while members of the parish choir(s) may lead the assembly's song or provide music for meditation at various points during the liturgy from the choir loft.
St. Gregory's has an Adult Choir that sings throughout the school year at the 10:30 Sunday Mass (rehearsals on Thursday evenings). We also have a Children's Choir that sings for Family Masses and on special occasions. There is also a St. Joseph Choir that sings at parish funerals. Any parishioner is most welcome to join the choir or seek training as a cantor. Please contact the parish Director of Music, Mr. Patrick Godon, at the Parish Center.
The Environment and Art Committee takes responsibility for planning and decorating the church for special feasts and seasons, especially the Advent and Christmas seasons, and the Lent and Easter seasons. Any parishioner is most welcome to become involved. Please contact Fr. Brian Fischer at the Parish Center.
St. Gregory's volunteer parish Sacristan is responsible for the care of all of the vessels, vestments, books, linens, candles and other supplies that are used in our parish liturgies. We welcome volunteers willing to help with special projects. Please contact Fr. Brian Fischer through the Parish Center.
